ADAM FRANK earned a Master of Arts degree with a concentration in guitar and a minor in music composition from Marshall University in 2002. He studied classical guitar under Leo Welch at Marshall University and under Elliot Frank as an undergraduate at East Carolina University. He has attended masterclasses taught by prominent guitarists such as Andrew York, Andrew Zohn, Frank Koonce, John Paris, and John Holmquist. He also attended and performed at Elliot’s ECU Summer Workshop.
Frank has taught a broad array of musical styles to guitar students of all ages, skill levels, and backgrounds since he moved to Atlanta, GA in 2003. He is currently the guitar instructor at Georgia Perimeter College and was previously the guitar instructor at the University of West Georgia until 2013. He has taught a diverse group of private students at various music studios in the metro Atlanta area, including comedian Jeff Foxworthy’s daughter.
Frank has played classical solo guitar at many private events and public performances. He is a member of the Atlanta Guitar Orchestra, where he regularly performs both with the entire orchestra and with featured small groups. He has also performed in several solo and group faculty recitals. In these performances, Frank has premiered a number of original solo and small group guitar compositions.
Frank has been a member of the National Federation of Music Clubs (NFMC) since 2008, and has entered his students in the National Federation of Music Clubs Junior Festivals. His students have also entered the Associated Board of Royal Schools of Music (ABRSM) practical/theory examinations where most of them achieved distinction or merit. Frank has judged performances by high school string players (violin, cello, and guitar) for Marshall University Scores Competition.
Adam Frank was born in Brooklyn, NY September 19, 1971 to Benjamin and Susan Frank. He has one brother, Colin.
By incorporating a greater sensitivity to a student’s particular learning needs and promoting the desire to learn, one may better fulfill the responsibility as a teacher to heighten the overall learning experience.

Adam tailors guitar lessons to each individual student’s interest and skill level. He teaches acoustic and electric guitar in a variety of styles, including classical, flamenco, pop, rock, and many others. Whether you are 7 or 70, a rocker or a classical musician, Adam will customize a learning program that fits your needs.
Fall and Spring semesters comprise of 17 weekly lessons. Students enroll in the semester, but payments may be made monthly.
30 minute lessons: $500 or $100/month for 5 months
45 minute lessons: $750 or $150/month for 5 months
60 minute lessons: $1,000 or $200/month for 5 months
First month’s tuition is due at registration. Monthly tuition payments are due the first day of each month. After the 7th of each month, a $10 late fee will be added.
To accommodate each student’s individual schedule during the summer, lesson packages are flexible. Lessons are priced individually. 4 lessons minimum to enroll in the semester.

60 minute lessons: $60/lesson
Tuition is due at registration.
Cancellation Policy:
All cancellations must be made at least 24 hours before lesson time in order to receive make up credit.
Make up lessons:
Students may make up 1 missed lesson per semester.
